The SWAT-T is now being sold in the new Safeguard Medical MARCH RAMPART Color Coded Package.

The SWAT-Tourniquet™ is a versatile and efficient device for controlling extremity hemorrhage, perfect for military and civilian Special Weapons and Tactics teams. It can be easily and quickly applied by individuals with minimal training, and its low cost and compact size make it a popular choice.  

Furthermore, the multi-function design allows it to be used as a pressure dressing or to secure extremity splints for immobilization. Its color-coded system simplifies emergency medicine, ensuring the right product is selected in a timely manner.

The SWAT-T is designed to treat a wide range of injuries, from minor to life-threatening. This versatile tourniquet is used by Military personnel (both conventional and Special Operations), EMS, Law Enforcement Officers, Contractors, Federal Agents, and prepared citizens (either individually or as part of active shooter kits). It can serve as a pressure dressing, all-purpose wrap, or even a primary or backup tourniquet.

The SWAT-T was developed by a former Operator/Medic with 14 years' experience in Operational Medicine -former USAF Pararescue Journeyman (Para-Jumper or PJ), Contractor DoJ/FBI SWAT Operations, National Registry Paramedic, and Emergency Medicine Physician.

The SWAT-T™ is rugged and has been tested in and out of packaging. Its shelf life has been extended to 7 years, due to new bagging that offers UV resistance. It is biocompatibility tested and is latex free.

SWAT-T Tourniquet Features:

  • 4” in. constricting band for increased constricting pressure and patient comfort
  • Effective for self-application. Effective even in wet/bloody conditions.
  • Effective in occluding blood flow in both upper & lower extremities
  • Allows a rapid means to control extremity bleeding
  • Allows application higher into the groin and axilla than other tourniquets
  • Advanced aged and heat/cold tested, this device will not fail
  • Symbols on tourniquet help prevent over tightening
