We are very excited to have Daughter of a Shepherd's new sock yarn!

Drover is a worsted spun 

 

British wool spun by John Arbon Textiles with a high twist and pinch of nylon for strength. The same gorgeous depth of colour as other Daughter of a Shepherd bases but blended especially for hard wearing socks or any other accessories and garments that require a bit more strength. 


Rachel's passion for the importance of provenance, collaborating with both shepherds, mills, designers and weavers has been a wonder to watch unfold over the last few years. We love her, her yarn and her story. See more of her story on our youtube channel as well as our Instagram TV channel.

 

Available in three natural and un-dyed fleece shades:

Whernside; dark, Hebridean + Zwartbles
Ingleborough; mid-grey, Hebridean, Zwartbles + Exmoor Blueface
