STP Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner Fuel Additive Regenerator DPF Unblock

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Cleaner is specially formulated to clear soot and carbon buildup from diesel particulate filters, helping to restore proper function and efficiency. This treatment is ideal for vehicles subjected to stop/start driving, such as city commutes, taxis, or short trips like school runs.

Since all diesel vehicles manufactured after 2009 are equipped with a DPF, this cleaner helps ensure that harmful soot particles are trapped and prevented from entering the atmosphere.

Key Features:

  • For Post-2009 Diesel Vehicles: Suitable for cars with a standard or retrofitted DPF.
  • Helps Unclog Filters: Effectively removes accumulated soot, regenerating the DPF.
  • Reduces Emissions: Prevents harmful particles from being released into the environment.
  • Ideal for Short Trips and Stop/Start Driving: Especially useful for urban driving, taxis, and vehicles with frequent short journeys.

Not Suitable for: Heavy-duty trucks with continuously regenerating traps. Always check your vehicle’s handbook for compatibility.

Directions for Use:

  • Add one 200ml bottle to a full tank of fuel (up to 55L).
  • Use every 1,800 miles (3,000 km) for optimal filter maintenance.
  • If the DPF warning light is on, add the cleaner to the fuel tank and drive for at least 20 minutes at higher speeds (motorway or dual carriageway) to help burn off soot buildup.
  • For severely clogged filters, multiple treatments may be needed for gradual cleaning.

Note: Ignoring the DPF warning light can lead to excessive soot buildup and potential damage. Regular use helps keep the DPF functioning properly, especially for vehicles in urban driving conditions.
