The new Wusthof 2-Stage Knife Sharpener is not only easier to hold than older models, but it also is designed to sharpen the most advanced Wusthof knives with the new PEtec edge. The Wusthof sharpener contains both a carbide notch intended for extremely dull edges and a ceramic notch for honing and finishing reasonably sharp blades. To sharpen knives, place and hold the sharpener on a flat surface, insert your blade fully into the slot at a 90-degree angle then place moderate pressure on the blade as you pull it towards you. Serrated and scalloped edges can also be sharpened or honed using the ceramic fine stage. Safe and simple to use, this sharpener will keep your knives performing at their peak.
