DPF Cleaner Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner Aerosol Spray Can 400ml Silverhook
Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) are fitted to today's modern vehicles and are designed to catch soot, carbon, and ash in the exhaust. As with any filter they need to be emptied regularly to maintain efficient performance levels. The DPF cleaning process is called regeneration. The collected soot, carbon and ash is burnt off at high temperature whilst the vehicle is driven for 30 minutes or more at speeds greater than 40mph at 2000-2500 rpm. Sometimes the filter is simply too blocked for this regeneration process to take place. Silverhook Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner (DPFC) is Non-flammable, free of metal and is designed to loosen soot, carbon and ash deposits in the particulate filter and help flush these particles out restoring the particulate filter to its full working capacity. Silverhook DPFC can also be used to help clean the EGR valve system that may have also become blocked with sooted particles.

Silverhook Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner/Regenerator is an iron-based organo-metallic additive dissolved in a hydrocarbon solvent. Silverhook Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner/Regenerator is used as fuel-borne catalyst for the regeneration of diesel particulate filters, for all diesel engines and all diesel fuel qualities.
It lowers the ignition temperature of the soot collected in the particulate filter and assists periodic combustion of accumulated soot, a process known as filter regeneration. Silverhook Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner/Regenerator provides long term reliable regeneration of the filter during operation - no dismantling and reassembly required. Comes with an applicator tube.
