A-Z Embroidery Sampler Workshop by Stitch-School with Melanie Bowles

This Workshop taught by Melanie Bowles will have you working on a Stitch-School linen sampler to explore, learn and practice the A-Z of embroidery stitches.  Each letter of the alphabet has its own individual embroidery technique ready to practice, designed by Stitch-School. The alphabet is printed onto a linen sampler and accompanied with an instruction pamphlet illustrating each stitch.

2.5 hours of instruction. Maximum 6 students. Class held in the shop.

Saturday the 25th of February 2023

Morning Class : 10:30 - 1:00 pm

Participants will receive the A-Z Embroidery sampler containing a 48cm x 76cm printed linen sampler and instruction sheet of stitches.

About Melanie:

Melanie Bowles is a Senior Lecturer at Chelsea College of Art on the BA Honours Textile degree. She is a practising textile designer and educationalist with the focus on creating educational material through step by step graphics to make textile design accessible and inclusive for all.

 Cancellation policy A refund of payment for a class will be given for cancellations only if the spot can be filled by another student, minus a 10% admin fee. Please be considerate.
