Take full advantage of your current Shimano pedal bodies with your brand-new Assioma DUO-Shi. Assioma DUO-Shi consists of two special adapters mounted into a couple of Assioma-Shi sensors to install into the Shimano SPD-SL pedal bodies. Assioma DUO-Shi is compatible with the Shimano PD-R8000, PD-R7000, PD-6800, PD-R550 and PD-R540 pedal bodies. Favero won’t be including any pedal bodies with the product. • Assioma supports the advanced metrics IAV Cycling Dynamics: IAV Power Phase and IAV Rider Position. These metrics, combined with the classic power data, allow analyzing in details the pedaling technique and how the cyclist's position on the bike influences performances.
• IAV Power and gyroscope. Unlike others, the measurements of Assioma are not affected by errors related to very irregular pedaling (eg. sprint uphill) or the use of oval chainrings. This is because Assioma is able to detect the actual instantaneous angular velocity of the pedal stroke, thus giving you the degree of accuracy of ±1% in any situation. Not only in the laboratory.
