A guaranteed original U.S. 'one sheet' poster from 1962 for Antonio Margheriti's "Assignment : Outer Space", originally released in Italy as "Space Men".

Starring Rik Von Nutter (how cool is that for a name?), Gaby Farinon and Archie Savage (another cool name!), the film follows a group of astronauts based on an orbiting space station as they undertake a dangerous mission to redirect a malfunctioning spaceship that could destroy the Earth.

Filmed before Yuri Gagarin became the first human to enter space, this poster captures the spirit of a unique decade in human endeavour, culminating with the 1969 Apollo moon landing.

The poster looks amazing as it approaches its sixtieth birthday. We look set to enter a couple of decades of commercial led space exploration and this poster will look fantastic in both a modern or retro styled home.
