The Cisco Catalyst 4500-X 16 Port 10G IP Base, Front-to-Back, No P/S is part of the Cisco family which provides the broadest line of solutions for transporting data, voice and video while ensuring that networks both public and private operate with maximum performance, security, and flexibility. Special features include layer 2 switching, VLAN support, Access Control List (ACL) support, Quality of Service (QoS), front to back airflow, and redundant hot swappable fans. The WS-C4500X-16SFP+ is ideal for small environments in campus networks as it delivers excellent scalability, simplified network virtualization, and integrated network services. The Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus (SFP+) interface supports both 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports. As demands increase this will allow customers to upgrade from 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
